Jeremy M. Stevens

Jeremy Matthew Stevens, 39, was granted his angel wings as he passed suddenly on July 5. A lifetime Sussex County resident, Jeremy had his master’s in Psychology and Music. He is survived by his mother, Barbara Winter Stevens of Hardyston and his paternal grandmother, Joan Stevens of Ogdensburg plus numerous loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, James L. Stevens. Jeremy’s greatest joy and gratification came from his beautiful music and the special residents he cared for at Devereux and SCARC group homes for over 15+ years. A private memorial service will be held. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Jeremy’s name to www.autismspeaks.org or Hardyston First Aid Squad.
