    June 18An indictment charges Howard Newton, age 48, of Branchville, N.J., with one count of second degree aggravated assault, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1(b)(1), one count of third degree aggravated assault in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:12-1(b)(7), one count of third degree tampering with witnesses, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:28-5(a), and three counts of fourth degree contempt, in violation of N.J.S.A. 2C:29-9(a).

    The case was investigated by Det. David Perez-Rueda of the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office and Tpr. M. Gilbert, Tpr. E. Chaves, Tpr. J.W. McCarthy, Tpr. II W.A. Zosche, and Det. I M.A. Braccioforte, of the New Jersey State Police. The case was presented to the Grand Jury by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro.

    Arraignment before the Superior Court in Newton will be within the next six weeks.

    June 22Robert Fedder, 28, of Hamburg, pleaded guilty to the third degree clime of possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for July 24, 2015.

    He admitted to possessing seven Vicodin pills, which he intended to give to another individual, during the course of a motor vehicle stop by Hardyston Detective M. Masters on April 8, 2015.

    Norelis Reyes, 20, of Corona, New York pleaded guilty to third degree Conspiracy and fourth degree Theft by Deception.

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for Aug. 7, 2015.

    On July 4, Reyes and a co-defendant were found to have used counterfeit one hundred dollar bills to make purchases at Mountain Creek in Vernon. The matter was investigated by the Vernon Township Police Department.

    Danielle L. Enman, 27, of Sussex, New Jersey pleaded guilty to third degree Eluding and the motor vehicle offenses of Driving While Intoxicated, Speeding and Disregarding a Stop Sign.

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for Aug. 7, 2015.

    On March 28, 2015 Enman was observed operating her vehicle in an erratic manner. When police attempted to stop her Enman initially fled and then stopped after a short pursuit. Investigation revealed that Enman was driving while intoxicated. The matter was investigated by the Vernon Township Police Department.

    Brandon Wagner, 26, of Hewitt, New Jersey pleaded guilty to fourth degree Criminal Trespass and the disorderly persons offense of Disorderly Conduct.

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for Aug. 7, 2015.

    On April 8, 2015, Hardyston police received several 911 calls regarding a male running around and yelling for help in the area of Ferndale Road. Subsequent investigation determined that Wagner, who was highly intoxicated, had previously entered an occupied apartment and then ran into the parking lot where he began screaming.

    The matter was investigated by the Hardyston Township Police Department.

    June 26Lister, 28 of Newton, was sentenced to five years of intensive probation. He was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation, follow all recommendations, continue treatment, and make restitution of $344.12.

    Lister pleaded guilty on April 13, 2015, to shoplifting, a fourth degree crime.

    On Nov. 30, Lister shoplifted a variety of items from Walmart, including a paintball gun and accessories, clothing, headphones, and shoes, by concealing the merchandise on his person and exiting the store without paying.

    Tammy Nicolai, 36, of Hamburg, New Jersey was sentenced to two years of probation and was ordered to submit to a substance abuse evaluation and follow all recommendations made.

    She must pay total fines and penalties of $155, pay restitution in the amount of $950 and submit a DNA sample at her expense.

    She pleaded guilty on April 20, 2015 to Theft by Deception and two counts of Forgery, all crimes of the third degree. In pleading guilty, Nicolai admitted to taking checks from another person and forging that person’s signature in order to cash them between Nov. 1 and Dec. 31.

    The matter was investigated by the Hamburg Township Police Department.

    Tamarri T. Valentine, 29, of Newark, was sentenced to two years of probation, 180 days time served and TASC evaluation and will follow all recommendations as condition of probation.

    He pleaded guilty on May 11, 2015, to two counts of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, both crimes of the third degree. In December of 2014 Franklin Police received a report of someone attempting to sell narcotics. Investigation found Valentine in possession of Heroin and Oxycodone
