The Borough Council made several adjustments and additions to its personnel, including promotions within the Department of Public Works and raises for both contract and non-contract employees.

The DPW supervisor was given the authority to promote John Rome to foreman, effective immediately. The borough also hired a full-time mechanic and laborer. However, Councilman Nicholas Giordano explained that the position was “mainly a mechanic.”

The Police Dept. was given the authority to give a conditional offer of employment to a new officer. Further details on that position were not given.

The employees will receive raises with the passing of two new resolutions.
