    June 18Ryan J. Brennan, 29, of Long Valley was indicted on one count of second-degree burglary, one count of second-segree aggravated assault, one count of third-degree aggravated assault, one count of third degree terroristic threats — threat to kill, five counts of third degree criminal restraint, one count of third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful puprose, one count of fourth-degree criminal mischief, one count of fourth-degree contempt, and one count of third-degree theft.

    The case was presented by the New Jersey state police.

    Russell Shine, 53, of Downington, Pa., was indicted on one count of third-degree terroristic threats and one count of fourth-degree contempt.

    The case was investigated by the Vernon Township Police Dept.

    Richard E. Furlong, Jr., 41, of Yonkers, N.Y. was indicted on one count of fourth-degree stalking and one count of fourth-degree contempt of domestic violence restraining order.

    The case was investigated by the Franklin Police Dept.

    Richard A. Willet, III, 32, of Sussex borough was indicted on one count of third-degree aggravated assault, one count of third-degree aggravated assault, one count of third-degree possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose and one count of fourth-degree unlawful possession of a weapon. Melissa M. Borras, 25, of Sussex Borough was indicted on one count of third-degree aggravated assault, one count of third-degree possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes.

    The case was investigated by the New Jersey state police.

    Matthew J. DeAugustinis, 28, of Fairlawn was indicted on one count of third-degree aggravated assault and one count of third-degree terroristic threats.

    The case was investigated by the Sparta Township Police Dept.

    Mark L. Measells, 29, of Sparta was indicted on one charge of third-degree interference with custody and one count of fourth-degree contempt.

    The case was investigated by the Sparta Township Police Dept.

    Jon P. Demarest, 47, of Andover was indicted on one charge of fourth-degree possession of a stun gun, one count of third-degree possession of a weapon by a convicted person, one count of fourth-degree contempt.

    The case was investigated by the New Jersey state police.

    June 26Roland Bossi, 65 of Mine Hill was sentenced to two years of probation. He was ordered to submit to a TASC evaluation and follow all recommendations. His driving privileges also were suspended for six months. He must pay total fines and penalties of $1,205.00.

    He previously pleaded guilty on April 13, to third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance and driving while intoxicated. Defendant was sentenced to a loss of license for seven months on the driving while intoxicated charge.

    He was involved in a single car motor vehicle accident and admitted to Newton police that he had been drinking. After being placed under arrest, he was found to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Richard Baarck, 33, of Sparta was sentenced to probation and 60 days in jail, which the court suspended. He must pay total fines and penalties of $155 and submit a DNA sample at his expense.

    He pleaded guilty on April 13 to fourth-degree cruelty and neglect of children. In pleading guilty, Baarck admitted to using drugs in the presence of a child at a residence in Sparta on December 13, 2014. The matter was investigated by Detective J. Antonello of the Sparta Township Police Department.

    Michael J. Dean Jr. 22, of Hopatcong was sentenced to two years of probation and ordered to continue intensive outpatient treatment. He must pay total fines and penalties of $30and submit a DNA sample at his expense.

    He pleaded guilty on Jan. 26, to third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance. In pleading guilty, Dean admitted to being in possession of heroin during a motor vehicle stop in Hopatcong on April 9, 2014. The matter was investigated by Patrolman J. Bianculli of the Hopatcong Borough Police Department.

    June 29Jessica L. Worden, 30, of Highland Lakes pleaded guilty to third-degree possession of a controlled dangeorus substance andd the motor vehicle offense of driving with a suspended license.

    Sentencing is scheduled for July 31.

    In pleading guilty, Worden admitted to being in possession of heroin during a motor vehicle stop in Vernon on March 6. The matter was investigated by Corporal K. Kuzicki of the Vernon Township Police Department.
