Local fencers succeed at competition

LITTLE FALLS — Hamburg resident Allen Trudnos won the National Fencing Association youth-14 mix saber won a gold medal at the New Jersey Youth Fencing Cup on June 27.
Alexandra Poret of Sparta finished third in the event.
Evan Dilley of Sparta finished second in the junior men's saber event.
