Area school board candidates file petitions

Four candidates filed petitions seeking three seats on the Franklin Borough School Board of Education in the Nov. 3 general election.

Petitions for the school board component of the general election were due at 4 p.m. on Monday, July 27.

Incumbents Kevin Blondina, Dawn Murrin and Ronald Neal will face a challenge from F. Ciiff Graham.

Three people will run for two seats on the Ogdensburg Borough School Board of Education. Brendan Donegan, Nina Sutera and Susan E. Dolan are on the ballot.

Mathew Christy and Sandara Cunningham have filed petitions and will run unopposed for seats on the Hamburg Borough school board. No petition has been filed for the third seat. David Van Ginneken and Dorothy Beltramine will run unopposed for seats on the Hardyston Township School of Board for a three-year term. No petition has been filed for the third seat, and no petition has been filed for a one-year term.

Todd K. Miller of Lafayette will run unopposed for a three-year seat on the High Point Regional Board of Education.

Lisa Carlson, Linda Auger Peoples and Arin Gunn-Russell will run unopposed for three seats on the Lafayette Township Board of Education. Kathleen Zagula will run unopposed for a one-year term on the board.

Guy C. McHugh of Hamburg will run unopposed for a three-year term on the Wallkill Valley Regional High School Board of Education. No seats are open in Franklin.
