    June 18An indictment charges Darrell A. Stewart, Jr., 27, of Wantage, with two counts of second degree sexual assault, two counts of fourth degree sexual contact and two counts of third degree endangering the welfare of a child.

    The case was investigated by the New Jersey State Police. The case was presented to the Grand Jury by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro.

    An arraignment before the Superior Court in Newton will be within the next six weeks.

    An indictment charges Daniel G. Fischer, 22, of Newton, with one count of second degree sexual assault, one count of fourth degree sexual contact and one count of third degree endangering the welfare of a child.

    The case was investigated by the New Jersey State Police. The case was presented to the Grand Jury by Assistant Prosecutor Laura L. Nazzaro.

    June 26Logan Zeigler, 23, of was sentenced to two years of probation, 180 days in the county jail, 68 days jail credit for time served, a six month loss of driver's license and mandatory court fines.

    He also pleaded guilty to motor vehicle tickets driving while suspended, failure to wear a seatbelt and improper passing. He pleaded guilty on June 1, 2015 to the third degree crimes of possession of a controlled dangerous substance and possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance.

    He admitted to possessing heroin in April in Hardyston. The matter was investigated by the Hardyston Police Department. He also admitted to possessing heroin with intent to distribute it on April 20, 2015 in Franklin Borough.

    Kurtis Kimble, 26, of Dingmans Ferry, was sentenced to two years of probation, 188 days in the county jail and 188 days jail credit for time served, $14,845 in restitution and $205 in court fines.

    Kimble pleaded guilty on April 27, 2015 to the third degree crime of aggravated assault.

    He admitted to causing significant bodily injury to another individual on Nov. 6, 2013 in Newton.

    June 29Trevor Swisshelm, 38, of Newton, pleaded guilty to third degree Possession of a Controlled Dangerous Substance, two counts of fourth degree Child Abuse and fourth degree Criminal Mischief.

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for Aug. 21.

    On Dec. 4, New Jersey State Police were called to Swisshelm’s rented home in Frankford Township for a medical assist where they found the defendant hiding in a bedroom with his two children. The owner of the home called police to advise Swisshelm was destroying the home and threatening to kill him.

    The responding officers observed controlled dangerous substances in plain view while in the residence. The matter was investigated by the New Jersey State Police.

    Kristin Ferraro, 31, of Branchville, was sentenced to one year of probation. She must pay total fines and penalties of $155 and submit a DNA sample at her expense.

    She pleaded guilty to fourth degree theft. In pleading guilty, Ferraro admitted to stealing a credit card from a construction business and using it between Dec. 3, 2013 and July 25.

    The matter was investigated by the New Jersey State Police.

    Sebastian A. Gamblin-Millacura, 30, of Franklin, pleaded guilty to the third degree crime of distribution of a controlled dangerous substance.

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for Aug. 21, 2015.

    He admitted to selling heroin to an individual cooperating with the Sussex County Gangs, Guns and Narcotics Task Force in the Borough of Franklin on Jan. 6, 2015.

    Dennis Gleason, 57, of Franklin, pleaded guilty to second degree Eluding and the motor vehicle offenses of Driving While Intoxicated, Reckless Driving (three counts) and Speeding (three counts).

    Sentencing is presently anticipated for Aug. 14, 2015.

    On March 3, 2015, Gleason was driving a vehicle in an erratic manner on Route 517 in Vernon. When a Vernon Police officer attempted to pull the vehicle over he sped up to a very high rate of speed and drove in the opposite lane of travel during the pursuit. The defendant eluded officers into New York where he was apprehended and determined to be under the influence of a narcotic.
