Lewis S. Donche

Lewis S. Donche, 93, died Thursday July 30, 2015, at his home in Port St. John. Mr. Donche, son of the late Louis and Karoline Donche, was born in Franklin, N.J., on May 12, 1922. He had resided in Ogdensburg, N.J., for 30 years, moving to Titusville, Fla., in 1990. Mr. Donche has resided in Port St. John for the past 12 years.

Mr. Donche was a postal clerk at the Sparta Post Office in Sparta, N.J., before his retirement. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII.

Mr. Donche was predeceased by his wife, Virginia R. Donche in 2003, a child, Dean, and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his children, Mark of Port St. John, Fla., Beverly of Ogdensburg, N.J., Frederick of Ogdensburg, N.J., and Robert of Franklin, N.J., as well as many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015 at 10 a.m. at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, 1 Main St. Franklin, N.J. Interment will follow at North Hardyston Cemetery.
