Soul Groove to perform in Jefferson

LAKE HOPATCONG — Soul Groove will perform in the 2015 free summer concert series on Friday evening, Aug. 14 at 7 p.m. at the beautiful Victorian gazebo located in the Jefferson Township Municipal Complex, 1033 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong.

The concert is being sponsored by the Jefferson Arts Committee.

Soul Groove is a five-piece female-fronted R&B band that likes to keep an audience dancing and singing even when the show is over The band was co-founded in 2003 by Jefferson resident Keith Theall and Mike Muro. The band’s set list covers the best popular R&B grooves and ballads of the last four decades well as some of the most loved pop hits of that era.

Attendees are asked to bring a blanket or chair for their comfort; and non-alcoholic beverages, picnic dinners, and snacks are permitted on the grounds unless the concert is moved indoors due to weather conditions. In the event of inclement weather, the concert will be moved to the Jefferson Township High School Auditorium located up the street at 1010 Weldon Road.
