Boating course planned in Hopatcong

HOPATCONG — Boating Safety First is conducting a boating safety course on Aug. 8 at Hopatcong Senior Center, 32 Lakeside Blvd., Hopatcong.
This course is approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators and the New Jersey state police Marine Services Bureau. Students are eligible to receive the NJ BSC at the completion of the one-day course and passing the exam.
The course fee is $65 for Hopatcong residents, police, fire, and EMS. The cost will be $75 for non-residents and all others.
