The Sussex County Federation of Sportsman's Club has rescheduled its annual children's fishing derby to Saturday, Sept. 19 from 9 a.m. until noon.

It had been scheduled for May 16 but was cancelled because of safety concerns due to low water levels.

Children 15 years of age or younger are welcome to enter the derby. Derby participants should provide their own fishing tackle. The Federation will provide worms.

Prizes will be awarded. Children 15 years of age and younger do not require a fishing license.

It is again requested that participants bring a can of food for the NORWESCAP food program. Additionally, this year any monetary donations also would be appreciated. The normal state fishing Regulations will be observed. The derby will be held at the pond within the Sussex County Farm and Horse Show Grounds. The pond is conveniently located off of Plains Road in Augusta, N.J.
