The Tree of Health Center is planning for the Universal Health Fair on Sept. 19 at the Green on Spring Street.

Linda Mitchell and Debra Hollinrake, partners at the Tree of Health Center, are creating the event with the help of Sandy Mitchell of SOTA Productions & Consultants. The event will be held on the Green on Spring St. in Newton.

The day will begin at 11 a.m. and conclude at 6 p.m. With the new one-way traffic pattern on Spring St. it will allow more parking access for attendees since there is parking on both sides of the street. The former McGuire Chevy dealership building on Rt. 206 will be used as event parking as well.

The Universal Health Fair will include a variety of vendors and practitioners, the North Warren Lions Club will be conducting free eye screenings, and there will be food tasting, a tricky tray and lots of great entertainment for fair goers to enjoy.

A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Universal Children’s Fund created by the center to benefit children in grades K-12. The funds will be used to create a stress-free environment in school which will enhance peak performance in academic endeavors. This program was developed by Linda Mitchell and Debra Hollinrake.

The event is free to attend and vendors and partitions are still being accepted. To reserve your spot as a vendor or a practitioner, contact Sandy Mitchell at 973-875-2068 or email sandy@mitchellclan.com. The Tree of Health Center is located at 55 Newton-Sparta Road in Newton.
