Planned Parenthood and deception

Except for a few members in Congress — Democrats — the defense of Planned Parenthood has shown how politically bankrupt the left of center has become. What is disgusting many of us, as the Times points out is “how the crisis pregnancy centers got away masquerading as abortion clinics — despicable, but hey they did get away with it! Why? will tell you below! In any event, the five videos shown by the Center for Medical Progress do not show that Planned Parenthood sells fetal tissue for profit, which is illegal anyway.

For too long abortion rights folk have, been reactive, while their opposition has been over proactive! In addition, many younger women forgot what women in the past fought for. The nonsense that women have abortions because they do irresponsible sex is simply nonsense for the large share of all women. I agree with a notion in the Times “that most women have sex, and that have abortions, are at peace with the decision.“

Statistics show that nearly one in three women have had at least one abortion by the time they have reached menopause. I have become very cognizant of rape and incest issues statewide, but I think whatever happens in even those instances should be left to the women involved. It is time for those women directly impacted by abortion — not to stand on the side lines letting largely male politicians play this sad song on abortion.

One recent study found that 95 percent of women having abortions after 1 year and three years reported they made the right decision. It is time for them, the males that took part in this decision to stand up and get respect. A state senator in Sussex County, who could not vote for one override of a governor’s veto is not the one to lead a crusade against a right women have held since Roe vs Wade.
