Jefferson plans trip to Radio City

    It’s really never too early to think about Christmas so envision riding in comfort to New York City to see the Radio City Music Hall’s Christmas Spectacular by traveling with the Jefferson Township Recreation Department on Friday, Nov. 21, 2015, with time to sightsee and eat before the 7:30 p.m. performance.

    Every year, the Rockettes push themselves further to put on a show that’s more dynamic, more challenging and more magical than the last. Take a 3D ride through the skies of New York with Santa, and be whisked up to the North Pole, as state-of-the-art technology transforms Radio City Music Hall into a magical, immersive wonderland. From a unique take on ”The Nutcracker” to the Hall’s original “Here Come Santa Claus,” the show delights with Clara, ice skaters, dancing teddy bears, dozens of Santa Clauses and more surprises.

    Tickets are $87 per person and include reserved orchestra seating, transportation by deluxe motor coach, and driver gratuity. Three buses will leave the Camp Jefferson parking lot, 81 Weldon Road, Lake Hopatcong at 10 a.m. sharp and depart from NYC immediately after the show (about 9:15 p.m.)

    In-person payments and telephone credit card reservations will be immediately confirmed at the Jefferson Township Recreation Department office located at 81 Weldon Road in Lake Hopatcong at Camp Jefferson between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and Fridays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Reservations made by mail with a personal check or money order are subject to availability. All checks should be made payable to the Township of Jefferson, and there are no refunds unless your ticket can be resold. MasterCard, VISA, and Discover credit cards accepted by phone or in person incur a 2.45 percent surcharge to cover bank processing fees.
