Aug. 10Patrick Delaney, age 32, of Yonkers, N.Y., was sentenced to eight years state prison with a four year period of parole ineligibility, 264 days credit for time served, pay restitution in the amount of $115,131.54
He pleaded guilty on March 12, 2018, to multiple counts of third-degree burglary, third-degree theft, one count of fourth degree aggravated assault and fourth degree prohibited weapons.
He admitted to breaking into and entering multiple homes in Vernon, Hardyston and Butler and stealing jewelry and other valuables and to spitting on Det. Stephen Gentle when arrested and possessing a dagger knife at the time of his arrest. The matter was investigated by Vernon Police Department.
