A hands-on demonstration of delicate, old-fashioned crafts

The Lost Art Lacers of North Jersey were in Lafayette Village on Saturday giving a demonstration on the art of lacing. Some of the women have been members over 30 years helping to teach tatting, crocheting and lace making. People from around the area came to try their hand at this nearly lost art. On display were many items made by the club members, some taking years to complete with tiny knots and intricate patterns.
