SUSSEX — Actor John Schneider made a special autograph signing appearance in Sussex County on Saturday, Aug. 24. Schneider who played Beauregard "Bo" Duke on the popular 1980's television series "The Dukes of Hazzard" spent a few hours with fans at the Franklin Sussex Auto Mall. He also served as a judge in the Daisy Duke look alike contest. Daniela Sangiovanni of Sussex was crowned the winner of the contest.

Schneider has kept busy since his days as part of the cast of the Dukes of Hazzard (1979 - 1985). He has appeared in many movies and guest starred on numerous television shows. In recent years he played Clark Kent's (Superman) father Jonathan Kent on the television series 'Smallville' (2001 - 2011).

Through the years Schneider has also dabbled in the country music genre as a singer putting out a series of albums and singles.
