Dream symposium offered on March 7

SPARTA — The Sparta United Methodist Church will sponsor the “Awakening the Dreamer Changing the Dream Symposium,” offered by The Pachamama Alliance (www.pachamama.org) on Saturday, March 7 from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The symposium explores the link between environmental sustainability, social justice and spiritual fulfillment, said organizers. The symposium allows participants “to gain a new insight into the very nature of our time and the opportunity we have to shape and impact the direction of our world with our everyday choices and actions,” they added. Registration fee is $20.
