Historical society to host event at VFW

The Four-Man Trio will play at the Vernon VFW on Nov. 23, for dancing, dinner and a silent auction sponsored by the Vernon Township Historicalf Society.
Tickets are priced at $40 per person and now on sale.
Reserve early because seating is limited at the VFW Post 8441, located at 313 Route 94, Vernon.
The Four Man Trio is a Bergen County band that has played to standing room only crowds at The Lamp Post in recent months. This popular band is hard to get, as they are booked nearly every weekend for the next year in advance. Their music is a great combination of contemporary and classic rock.
The event starts at 6 p.m. and consists of a chicken dinner, vegetable, salad, bread and butter. There will also be a pasta dish for vegetarians, dessert, and coffee and tea. The silent action will consist of several large items such as a smart TV, a beautiful four-foot leather horse sculpture, fine precious gemstone jewelry, and others. There will also be free door prizes and a 505/50 raffle. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. Dress is casual.
