Jack Black pays visit to Drama Greek studios
Newton. Actor Jack Black showed up at Drama Geek Studios’ April 8 production of “Into the Woods Jr.” to suprise the cast and crew. He took pictures and talked to the cast.

Recently Drama Geek Studios concluded their run on their productions of the Sondheim classic Into the Woods Jr. and Into the Woods.
Both productions entertained audiences young and old alike with heartfelt performances night in and night out. However, it was the performance on Friday April 8 that amazed all in attendance.
For that particular show there was a very special guest in the house cheering on the cast of Drama Geek’s Into the Woods. That person was none other than Hollywood star, Jack Black.
When asked about the surprise guest, Joshua Reed, Owner of Drama Geek Studios had this to say: “When I saw Jack Black walking up the stairs to the theater at SCCC to see one of my shows, I just froze and then realized I was being introduced to him. I was one of few people who knew he and his family were in the audience and we had to keep the secret so it wouldn’t affect anyone’s performance. But to hear Jack Black laughing in the audience was surreal. Afterwards he took time to take photos with everyone and then took even more time to talk to the cast and take photos with all of us. He was extremely gracious and complementary to the cast and crew and made sure to speak with everyone. It truly was an experience we won’t soon forget!”
