Lindy's Theatrical Dance Center merges with Simply Dance

vernon - "Lindy's Theatrical Dance Center" of Vernon and "Simply Dance" of Vernon have joined forces, and now operate as "Simply Dance". "Simply Dance" opened in January at 3 Church Street in Vernon. "Simply Dance" is owned and operated by Danielle Higgins-Seidner and Shannon Higgins-Mackey. Danielle is the director, teacher and choreographer, while Shannon functions as the business director. Danielle has been a resident of Vernon for the past 22 years. She has been dancing since the age of three and competing nationally since the age of 12. Danielle graduated from the County College of Morris with honors and received her Associates in Arts. She was also involved with the "Simplicity Dance Company" in New York City. Danielle Seidner and Loretta Chiapperino, owner and operator of "Lindy's Theatrical Dance Center" for fifteen years, will be the two main dance instructors and choreographers at "Simply Dance". Sherry Mudrick (Primary Baby /Toddler), Lorriane Simone (Ballet, Modern), and Larry Whritenour (Acrobatics) from "Lindy's" staff will also be coming aboard at "Simply Dance". Also remaining on the "Simply Dance" staff from last is year is Matt Boyce (Intermediate/Advanced Tap). "Although we've only been open a short time, we are excited and optimistic about the future of our studio", says Shannon. "We are very happy to have Loretta on board; she brings a wealth of experience with her." "Simply Dance" is now accepting fall registration. Classes are available in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Lyrical, Modern, and Acrobat. There are also adult classes held for Pilates and Tap/Jazz, along with classes offered in Musical Theater.
