Wantage — On Father’s Day, June 20, proud animal poppas will be parading their offspring at Space Farms Zoo and Museum. A new baby joey is peeking out of its mother’s pouch, new fawns are playing hide and seek in the grass, and kid goats are jumping next door to multiple Mouflon sheep lambs. The Scottish Highland Cattle bull has produced two new bright orange calves. Buffalo dads are watching over babes born in the last two weeks. Father’s Day at Space Farms is dedicated to fathers of all species. Informational lectures are given on paternal participation. A special drawing will be held for a Family Season Pass that enables the winning dad to bring his family to the zoo, as often as they wish from Father’s Day until Space Farms closes Oct. 31. Space Farms Zoo and Museum is located on Route 519 in Wantage and is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is $14 per adult, $9.50 per child and $13 per senior. Season passes and group rates are available. For more information call 973-875-5800 or visit www.spacefarms.com.
