Sussex County Community College offers continuing education courses

Newton — Sussex County Community College will offer the following courses in its continuing education department: Introduction to Quickbooks How to organize and monitor company finances with QuickBooks accounting software. Six-session, 18-hour course will begin Wednesday, Feb. 4 through March 11, from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Cost: $429. New Jersey Real Estate Pre-Licensing Students are required to take this 75-hour pre-licensing course before they can take the New Jersey state examination to become a licensed real estate salesperson. A daytime session and an evening session are being offered. The evening session will begin on Tuesday, Feb. 3 and run every Tuesday and Thursday evening from 6 p.m. to 9:45 p.m., ending on April 9. The day session begins May 11 and will run Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., ending on May 29. Cost: $400. New Jersey Notary Public Two sessions are offered. The first is Saturday, Feb. 7 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The second session is Tuesday, April 28 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. Cost: $65. Adobe Photoshop Three courses: Beginner — Learn how to alter, edit and improve the quality of photographic images. Intermediate — Learn layering basics and the basic tools of image retouching. Advanced — Learn advanced color techniques and how to work with filters Evening classes begin Thursday, Feb.12.
