Tickets now available for April 16 ‘An Evening of Wine & Roses'

NEWTON - The Newton Memorial Hospital Foundation’s “An Evening of Wine & Roses” will be held Thursday, April 16 at Legends Resort and Country Club in the McAfee section of Vernon. The foundation event is one of the area’s “largest and most well-known fundraisers,” according to event planners. Proceeds will benefit the hospital’s single-room maternity enhancement project, a five phase renovation project currently underway to better serve the community’s expectant mothers. In coming weeks, the foundation will announce this year’s celebrity chef as well as new restaurants who will be joining the event for the very first time, planners said. There will be opportunities to win a variety of gift baskets, a trip for two and a new car. Tickets are $125 per person; and VIP room tickets cost $200 per person.
