Winter walk at Skylands

Ringwood — As part of its Garden Saturday series, the New Jersey State Botanical Garden will sponsor Winter Walk at Skylands on Sunday, Feb. 22, at 10 a.m. A $3 donation is requested. Members of the Adirondack Mountain Club will lead participants on an exploration of the garden’s trails. The walk will last from two to three hours. It will be a moderate hike, but may include some ups-and-downs and rough terrain. Participants should bring water and wear sturdy, comfortable shoes (or snowshoes) and meet at the Carriage House Visitor Center. Heavy snow cancels, but snow on the ground won’t stop the walk.
