Zervas to appear March 21 at Sparta church

Sparta musician, recording artist and teacher Glenn Zervas will perform his latest CD release at a concert on Saturday, March 21, at 7 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Sparta. Zervas’ latest CD, “New Heaven, New Earth” has been described as “a picturesque work, with instrumentals sonically and visually captivating.” Robert Silversten of 20th Century Guitar Magazine describes Glenn’s music as “similar in tone and spirit to the recordings of acoustic guitar giants such as Leo Kotke, Phil Keaggy and even Steve Howe ... for fans of harmonious and reflective acoustic guitar albums, it doesn’t get any better ....” Complementary refreshments will be served.
