Bands playing hits of recent decades
SUSSEX COUNTY. Blue Arrow Farm hosts a cabaret show and a 60th anniversary tribute to the Beatles.
Kick off February by immersing yourself in the finest live music in and around Sussex County.
Friday, Feb. 2
A cabaret show featuring a stellar lineup of performers will start at 6 p.m. in the upper barn of Blue Arrow Farm, 86 Glenwood Road, Pine Island, N.Y. Performers will include Hernan Romero, a Grammy Award-winning virtuoso guitarist, composer and producer known for his progressive and eclectic sound; Carie Karavas, a stand-up comic renowned for her tough, street-smart style; and the talented 22-year-old Nashville singer, Madison Pisani.
North Jersey singer-songwriter Erika Sherger will serenade the audience with her originals and covers at 6:30 p.m. at Krogh’s Restaurant & Brew Pub, 23 White Deer Plaza, Sparta.
For those who prefer to be the star of the show, O’Reilly’s Pub and Grill, 271 Spring St., Newton, opens its stage for a night of karaoke starting at 9 p.m.
Saturday, Feb. 3
Angry Erik Brewing, 2 Camre Drive, Newton, will present Mike Herz’s acoustic rock and folk tunes at 4 p.m.
DUG the Band will play upbeat rock tunes at 6:30 p.m. at Skylands Craft Beer & Wine Garden, 447 Route 284, Wantage.
For a throwback experience, head to Milk Street Distillery, 1 Milk St., Branchville, at 7 p.m., when Felony, a four-piece guitar-driven dad-rock ensemble, will take you on a nostalgic journey through the hits of the ’70s, ’80s and ’90s.
Stanhope House, 45 Main St., welcomes Joe Stuby & Rocking Horse at 7 p.m. for a night of rock music. Tickets are $15 in advance and $20 at the door; tickets from the canceled Dec 9 show will be honored.
Omar Mendez will play at 8 p.m. at O’Reilly’s Pub and Grill.
Sunday, Feb. 4
MariByrd will perform acoustic rock, folk and alternative tunes at 2:30 p.m. at Angry Erik Brewing.
Wednesday, Feb. 7
Enjoy a midweek performance at McQ’s Pub at Lake Lenape, 165 Andover Sparta Road, Newton, with Sean Henry playing multi-genre tunes at 5 p.m.
Also at 5 p.m. at Blue Arrow Farm, “Carnaby Street,” a Beatles 60th anniversary tribute, will be part of Danny C’s Winter Wednesday Concert Series.
Thursday, Feb. 8
Homestead Rest, 294 N. Church St., Sparta, invites you to an acoustic open mic night starting at 6 p.m. Sign-ups begin at 5:30 p.m.
Krogh’s will feature Bill Ruddy at 6:30 p.m., offering a fun and interactive experience with a repertoire spanning from the ’50s to today.
