Students receive Caring Awards

Nine students received annual High School Caring Awards presented by the Sussex County School Counselors Association at a breakfast April 25 at Sussex County Community College (SCCC).

The students, who exemplified a caring attitude toward their school and community, were recommended by a guidance counselor at their high school.

The recipients:

• High Point Regional High School: Joel Morales.

• Hopatcong High School: Jayson Morton.

• Kittatinny Regional High School: Riley Hough.

• Lenape Valley High School: Diana Cordoza.

• Newton High School: Thaylor Sibblies.

• Sparta High School: Remi Coleman.

• Sussex Technical High School: Jacob Abraham.

• Vernon Township High School: Daniel Lovett.

• Wallkill Valley High School: Loic Ebelle.

Also, 20 middle school students received annual Middle School Caring Awards at a breakfast April 17 at SCCC.

They also were recommended by a guidance counselor at their school.
