The fifth graders at Franklin Borough School were excited to have guest speaker Morgan Carr (Wallkill Valley alumnus and current Rowan University College of Engineering student) share her knowledge of the engineering field.
Carr created a presentation on the major branches of engineering. She shared her high school and college experiences within the field, as well as projects that captured her interest.
As a culminating activity, she challenged the 5th graders to build the tallest tower using only scotch tape and solo cups. The students thoroughly enjoyed Ms. Carr’s visit.
