Danielle Polak, Michael Garrett Johnson to marry

The parents of Danielle Polak and Michael Garrett Johnson announce the engagement of their children to be married. The bride-to-be is the daughter of John and Nora Polak of Rutherford. The groom-to-be is the son of George and Terry Johnson of Hardyston Township.

Ms. Polak graduated from Rutherford High School in 2007, earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Political Science from Seton Hall University in 2011, and earned a Master of Arts in English from Boston College in 2013. She is employed by Pioneer Academy in Wayne.

Mr. Johnson graduated from Wallkill Valley Regional High School in 2007, earned a bachelor of arts in Literary Arts from Brown University in 2011, and earned a Master of Fine Arts in Fiction Writing from Emerson College in 2014. He is employed by the Englewood Cliffs Board of Education.

A May 2015 wedding is planned.
