Hernandez signs letter of intent with UPenn

Kittatinny — Troy Hernandez, senior at Kittatinny Regional High School, recently signed a NCAA Letter of Intent to wrestle next year at the University of Pennsylvania. Troy has an impressive record of 145 wins and 25 losses in four years of high school wrestling. He holds three New Jersey State Medals in wrestling; 2nd place in his senior year, 3rd place in his junior year, and 6th place in his sophomore year. He was named as Kittatinny’s Scholar-Athlete for 2009 and will be recognized on March 27 at Perona Farms along with the Scholar-Athletes from other Sussex County high schools.
