WANTAGE — The Chinkchewunska Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution has been actively promoting historic preservation, patriotism and education in Sussex County since 1902. Last Monday, new executive officers, who will lead the chapter for the next three years were elected.
The Chinkchewunska Chapter owns and operates the Elias VanBunschooten Museum located on Route 23 in Wantage which is now open every Thursday and Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m.
The chapter is hosting their annual Christmas in July open house with free tours of the house, rein-actors, vendors, crafters and more from July 26 to 28.
