Donald C. Domzalski, 81, of Sussex died May 30, 2013 at his home in Sussex following a long illness.
Domzalski, son of the late Charles and Irene (Pelava) Domzalski was born in Glen Lyon, Pa. Feb. 18, 1932. He resided in Andover for many years before moving to Sussex 23 years ago.
Domzalski was an eighth grade Social Studies teacher at the Florence M. Burd School in Andover. He was a basketball referee in Sussex and Morris Counties at both the grammar school and high school levels. Domzalski was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War.
Domzalski is survived by his wife Elizabeth (Bush) Domzalski; children, Susan Graham and her husband Kevin of Andover, Lisa Schmidt of Vernon, Dawn Asprea of Sussex, Denise Carroll and her husband James of Franklin and Donald Domzalski and his wife Tracy of Washington; brothers, Raymond Domzalski and his wife Ginny of Phillipsburg and Stanley Domzalski and his wife Charlotte of Louisville, Ky.; 11 grandchildren, two great grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held Thursday June 6 at 4 p.m. at F. John Ramsey Funeral Home, One Main St., Franklin. Friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 2to 4 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Karen Ann Quinlan Hospice, 99 Sparta Ave., Newton, N.J.
