Preserving history

Gerald DeGroat, center, president of The New Jersey Society of the Sons of the Revolution, recently presented a check for the preservation fund to Nancy Malone, who is vice regent and house committee chairman of local chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution. At right is Wendy Wyman, regent of Chinkchewunska Chapter. The fund was established by the chapter to take care of a major stabilization project within the main house of the Elias VanBuschooten Museum, located on Route 23 in Wantage Township.
