Clarification

A story in the May 21 issue of The Advertiser-News about discussion at a township meeting surrounding the resignation of Councilman Glenn McLaughlin indicated than an e-mailed resignation from McLaughlin dated April 8 was worded identically to one dated May 5. That was incorrect. In the earlier e-mail he resigned from his post as deputy mayor, but in the more recent one he stated that his resignation was from the council and from the position of deputy mayor.
