A new crosswalk in Ogdensburg is situated across from Sam’s convenience store and leads to the firehouse and the ball field. The work was done by the Sussex County Road Department, after a visual study of the area, according to Councilman Michael Blahut. The road crew also enhanced two other crosswalks in the borough by painting lines across the center. In addition, Blahut reports that Ogdensburg Council has approved the placement of large yellow warning signs near the crosswalks in an effort to give greater visibility to residents crossing Main Street.
