VERNON — A benefit golf outing and beefsteak dinnner for the kids of Lisa Larmer, a Vernon mom who died unexpectantly in July, is being held on Oct. 27 at Crystal Springs resort in Vernon. "Lisa's Angels" has been founded to help raise money for Larmer's five children whose immediate needs include a place to live. The oldest child, Nikki, is now the foster parent to the youngest two children.
One-hundred percent of the proceeds will go to benefit the Larmer children; Nicole, 22, Kristen, 20, Mary, 18, Matthew, 15, and Anne, 12. Crystal Springs Resort is sponoring this event.
The golf outing will take place at the Great Gorge Country Club, 410 Rt. 517 North, in McAfee. It will begin with lunch at 11 a.m., a shotgun start at noon, and a beefsteak dinner at the Red Tail Lodge, Rt. 94 in Vernon, at 6 p.m.
The cost is $125 per person for golf and dinner, $50 per person for dinner only, tee sponsorships are available for $100, cart sponsorships for $500, and corporate sponsorships for $1,000.
