Friday, Dec. 13, marked the official flip of the switch and celebration of Crystal Spring’s 25-acre solar field that became active this past September.
On hand to flip the switch included Hardyston Councilman Carl Miller, Township Manager Carrine Piccolo-Kaufer, Assemblyman Hal Wirths, Senator Steven Oroho, and Chris Mulvihill, Chief Marketing Officer at Crystal Springs Resort.
The solar farm was developed in partnership with New Jersey based Marina Energy and has over 19,000 solar panels. The solar farm can generate an annual 3.5 Megawatts of electricity, which is more power than is consumed annually by the Resort’s two hotels.
