FBLA installs new officers

    The following members of the Wallkill Valley Regional High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) were installed as the 2016-2017 local chapter officers at the 2016 Installation Dinner on May 18: (left to right) Randi Lyn Hornyak, Sara Miceli, Samantha Hutnick, Tim Hendershot, Kaylay Bifano, Anastasia Schroeder, Garett Koch, Zachary Dora, Amanda Spindler, Harshil Bhavasar, Ryan Kostelnik, and Tyler Small.

HAMBURG — The Wallkill Valley Regional High School chapter of Future Business Leaders of America hosted the annual FBLA Installation Dinner on May 18, in the high school cafeteria at 6:30 p.m. Alice Vinogradsky, the 2015-16 New Jersey FBLA Northern Region vice president, was the keynote speaker and installed the new officers.
Samantha McCurry, the 2013-2014 Wallkill Valley FBLA President, gave remarks as a member of PBL (the collegiate level of FBLA) and as a junior at George Mason University, the University’s PBL chapter president this past year and president-elect for 2016-2017, and the newly elected 2016-2017 Virginia State Vice President of Communications.
Dinner was provided by Castelli’s Catering. Anastasia Schroeder was the chairperson of this event.
The chapter initiated the Wallkill Valley FBLA Wall of Fame.
