The Main Library in Frankford will present An Evening with George…Washington on Wednesday, Aug. 28 at 7 p.m.
Experience the passion and emotion of the Revolutionary War through the eyes of its most loyal, yet beleaguered general, George Washington.
Sam Davis doesn’t just lecture about George Washington, he becomes him. Mr. Davis recounts history in a compelling, first-person narrative, reliving the triumphs and sorrows that led to the United States miraculous victory in the War for Independence.
The presentation will conclude with a meet-and-greet with the General, followed by light refreshments. Register by visiting or calling the library at 973 948-3660, option 2, or online through the Events Calendar link at sussexcountylibrary.org.
An Evening with George is funded through a grant from the Gilder Lehrman Institute on Revolutionary History.
