Franklin honors retiring police officer

FRANKLIN — Sergeant Leo Kinney was presented with a plaque and retirement badge before the public and Borough Council at the regular meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 8.
Councilman Nick Giordano and Borough Administrator Allison Littell-McHose presented Kinney with a plaque honoring his service as an officer of Franklin.
“(Kinney) has been a very effective police officer leader,” said Giordano. “We wish him many good times to come.”
Police Chief Eugene McInerney presented Kinney with his retirement badge.
