Connie Fessler, a resident of Westwind Manor in Franklin, recently celebrated her 102nd birthday.
She was born in Brooklyn in 1922, the oldest of four children.
She met her husband at a Brooklyn movie theater, and they were married within the year.
They had one daughter and lived 40 years in California. In her spare time, she loved to garden, cook and travel.
Regarding the book of life, “the book was written and I live accordingly,” she said. “The day we are born, we are designated a route to follow. If you follow it, you will have peace. It’s been a great ride.”
