Tuesday, Oct. 31
Branchville: Annual Halloween parade starts at the Branchville Fire Department at 6 p.m. after trick or treating from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.
Newton: Halloween parade on Union Place at 4 p.m. Line up at 3:45 p.m. There will be a costume contest, a pet walk, and trunk or treat.
Ongoing events
Augusta: Jack O’Lantern Experience from September through November, more than 6,000 Jack-O-Lanterns will transform Skylands Stadium for a 45-minute walk-through experience. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Located at 94 Championship Place.
Vernon: Great Pumpkin Festival at Heaven Hill Farm from September through Nov. 5, Enjoy fall-themed activities, including a corn maze and hayrides as well as 12 carnival rides and live entertainment. Located at 451 Route 94.
