HARDYSTON — The entire Hardyston Police Force attended the Hardyston Township Council meeting to support two new police officers being sworn in.
The first officer to be sworn in was Patrolman William Varcadipane III. The second police officer to be sworn in was Patrolman Eric Stickle. Each officer’s father held the Bible for him as Mayor Carl Miller swore in the officer. The room was crowded with the patrolmen’s families, entire council and town residents.
There was an intermission after the ceremony so the new police officers could celebrate with their families, the police department, the mayor and council.
Both of the new officers graduated from the police academy of Passaic County.
