Vernon. Volunteers are needed to work four-hour shifts at Heaven Hill Farm’s Fall Harvest on Saturdays and Sundays now through Nov. 8. The goal is to raise more than $2,000 to pay for activities for Heaven Hill’s kids and the Vernon community. Volunteers are needed to stand at the gate and check wristbands as patrons enter the Fall Harvest activity area or to answer the phone at a safe station while staying physically distant.
