VERNON — The Highland Lakes Community will hold its 55th annual art show at the Highland Lakes Clubhouse located at 2240 Lakeside Drive West at Breakneck Road in Highland Lakes from 1:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.

The show includes both an amateur and professional exhibit.

The amateur division of the show, held in the main clubhouse, features crafts, quilts, photography, needlework, and artwork in a myriad of media. Approximately 200 entries are submitted each year by Highland Lakes members of all ages.

Professional artists, photographers, and crafters from the Highland Lakes community and neighboring areas judge entries in the amateur show. Gifts and ribbons are awarded at the conclusion of the show.

The professional art exhibit in the club's Lake Room features fine art paintings and prints, crafts, photography, quilts, sculpture, and more created by professional artists within the Highland Lakes Community membership.
