Casey Macisso-Kondik is running for the Board of Education in the Nov. 5 election.
She said she wants to get involved in the school that her daughter has attended since pre-K.
”Education is very important to me and it is important to our community to make sure all the children that come through our district have the best possible opportunities and skills to thrive as members of our community.“
If elected, she would like to continue the conversation about busing and other safety measures for children who walk to school.
She also would address bullying and mental health. ”We all want to ensure our children can learn within a safe, supportive environment that promotes their well-being.
“As a parent first, my goal is to always do what is in their best interests, whether in the form of programs, personnel, technology, services, safety measures etc.”
Macisso-Kondik works as a data analyst. “I can understand and analyze the trends and data coming from local and state assessment reports and use this information to aid in decision-making for student performances and school improvement.”
