CHARACTERISTICS

Dusty has been through more than some people - yet he’s friendly, loving and, despite everything, happy as a clam.

Dusty was left on the side of Route 287 in a carrier in the sweltering summer heat but was found by a good Samaritan just in time. After spending several months at the vet hospital, he was finally feeling well enough to be adopted.

Since coming to us, Dusty has reminded us how forgiving animals can be, even when humans haven’t treated them the best. Dusty loves everyone and loves spending time with them!

He’s about 19 pounds so he’s on a bit of a weight-loss journey. Despite this, he loves to play. He prefers interactive toys - probably so he can spend more time with people.

He would fit in great in virtually any home - just be ready to give him lots of love because he deserves it!
