Miss Lafayette 2018 is Mikayla Shappert. Mikayla is the daughter of Laura and Mitch Shappert of Lafayette and attends Lycoming College, Pa. She is majoring in Biology with minors in Energy Studies and Environmental Science. Mikayla has been active in many organizations in college including, Equestrian team, Sustainability Committee, Beta Phi Gamma Sorority, Make a Wish Foundation, American Rescue Workers and Christian Outreach Project.
