Ogdensburg school holds cookie election

OGDENSBURG — After learning about the democratic process and our responsibilities in our communities, Mrs. Perecey's first grade class held an election.
There were some intense opinions happening and it was a suspenseful race, but there was a clear cut winner.
Candidates were Oreo and Chocolate Chip.
Students conducted a taste test, stood in long lines to cast votes, and carefully analyzed the results...
Chocolate Chip Cookie was the winner by a 6-5 margin.
